Allstar Hospice is a hospice that aspires to provide quality, compassionate support and care for people facing a life-limiting illness and their families.
Hospice care is founded on the belief that, even when a cure is no longer possible and time is measured in months or weeks, there is still an opportunity for Quality of Life, Comfort, Dignity, and Hope.
One of the many vital services provided by Allstar Hospice is Volunteers. Volunteers provide Direct and Indirect support for the patient and the family. Directly, volunteers offer friendship and companionship, as well as emotional support and assistance to the patient/family. Indirectly, volunteers may offer administrative support by performing clerical duties, (filing medical records, building medical records binders, learning Kinnser software, answering the phone) in the hospice office and assisting with The Bereavement Program by mailing letters, cards, and making phone calls. Community volunteers, speaks about hospice philosophy, assist fundraising and recruiting volunteers.
Volunteer candidates go through interview and screening processes to ensure the safety of our patients and their families.
Volunteers are given assignments that best suit their time, skill and interest. Allstar Hospice will educate, train and equip all volunteers with the skill they need for the volunteer role.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. If you would like to volunteer with Allstar Hospice please complete the contact form and submit and we will get in touch with you.
Thank you.
